I have seen several topics in the Game Forum where people were stating that Bootleggers is run by greed and nothing else. So I went on a little adventure slash experiment trip.

I was in need of an Organized Crime so I figured, what could be a better way of seeing what people actually want for something as simple as an OC. I made a topic in the Classifieds section that I am in need an Organized Crime. Low ranked, yet willing to join for no take of the total outcome. 10 minutes went by, no Bootmails in my inbox. The same with 15 and the same when 30 minutes went past.

So I started a more aggressive tactic. Offering a lot of money for a part in an OC. 10 points for each Legendary Don or Respectable Don that would join my OC. Me of course being only Hitman I wanted to Drive.

Went downstairs to make myself some food... And honestly I was amazed when I came back. 10 points per spot in the OC and 12 replies within just 5 minutes. I firstly got a Leader and a Weapons Expert. So that means Equipment Expert to go. I thought I would see how those two would react if I decided to invite a Legendary Godfather to the OC. Nothing from one, but amazement from the other, even though he was his crewmate.

I remember 2 years back when the game was based on respect and fear towards the powerful. If a friend needed money you would give it to him, if someone needed an OC, you would make that possible for that player. Today, all of that is different. Greed and the need for more and more seems to be taking over.

So what can we do? Do you think Bootleggers could ever go back to the way it was? Let us all work on it and we shall see.
