Bring that boring old text back to life with this photoshop tutorial. On the rare occasion such as this, where the past week has been slow and nothing really to report on, I will be bringing you a featured Photoshop tutorial that I feel can be easily integrated into the Bootleggers community.

This weeks tutorial is brought to us about PSDTuts.com. It is a very simplistic tutorial on jazzing up your text with a few simple and minor effects. I would probably rate this an intermediate level tutorial because as simple as it is, there are a few techniques used that would require some knowledge of how to use Photoshop. PSDTuts does, however, explain it well enough that even a beginner in Photoshop could understand how to do it. You will notice as you look through the steps I posted, as I went through the tutorial, that I did stray off course as I did not use the same font used in the original.

My tip for you, if you choose to use this, is to stick with somewhat of a bold and thick font to maintain the appropriate look that is being achieved in the tutorial.

Overall, I would give this tutorial a rating of 10 out of 10. Not only is the initial appearance appealing but the steps are easy to understand for all levels of Photoshop knowledge.
