Boot Society |

Hey there bootleggers around the globe, I am Charles Luciano; A.K.A. Lucky Luciano. I have been on bootleggers for around a couple of months now, and I found an amazing society with their (our now) own code of conducts and rules. I would like to comment about the conceptual ideology spread in the game the way I have noticed so far, since I'm a "noob."
It's amazing how people from the outside call us nerds now that we our online basically "too much," yet we have our own categorization inside the game to attribute people. Now that I'm Respectable Boss and about to become Godfather I don't mind a Scum to drive in my OC, and I pay him or her 10-15% depending on car. This is not because I feel safer with scums or thugs, it's just because I know where I came from, and where I was just some time ago! It's hard, and by the day it's getting harder for these new players "noobs."
Why does a Don with 30 Million or so delay himself or a whole gang of people waiting to OC just for 2% more or less? Did these things exist before in the so called "old school" Bootleggers! Sometimes you want to stop where you are, pause, and yell at the person sending you BMs "take the extra 5k and let me get it over with." People are too greedy now in the game, don't you think?
I wonder whether "Bootleggers" does represent huge chunks of the society. We have the reckless rich who only want their well being and seek only more. And we got the scum scammers who keep begging and then you never see again. We also have the middle class who try to be nice to lower classes sometimes. Never to forget, we got ourselves a big amount of gambling addicts, who never get their feet on the ground no matter how high ranked they get!
I think the ideology spread here is no longer just fun, we have measures of success or failure, we have measures of respect or pity and we even have the element of fear influencing our decisions on daily basis.
It remains to be seen whether our community is going to keep heading towards a real criminal society or there will be a point where people would stop or would you end up paying 20k to join an OC with someone one rank higher than you!
