WELCOME to issue number 56 of the Bootleggers Buzz!
I hope all of you had a very relaxing week! This week was, thankfully, jammed packed for us. We have a chock-full of information to give to you all and thank God for that! During boring weeks, we try our best to give you at least something to read, but then get blamed that the Buzz "sucked." Well, there really is nothing we can do. Stop shining your guns and lining your bullets in a row and start shooting! Maybe we can all press the "suicide" button at the same time and create our own reset, that would be a good story? Someone, set it up, STAT!
This week we have information on two Nation Dons we've seen this week, adding our total to 7 Nation Don's this reset. We can thank Sabin's little update to the statistics page for that. It was also mind boggling to see that we have actually had a total of 88 State Dons. 88! If I would have guessed, I wouldn't of said more than 30!
As you read above, we now have a new option to kill ourselves. Scrapping the entire "request a ban" ordeal, now players who no longer want their account, can kill themselves. With some minor pre-requisites to do so, anyone can kill themselves with a three or more day old account, 500 dollars or at least 100 bullets! Feeling e-emo? Press the button! [disclaimer]But remember, The Buzz nor Bootleggers condone suicide as a means to an end in real life! [/disclaimer]
We witnessed the takeover of Apocalypse, yet again. It has almost become a monthly tradition for them. Could Apocalypse be the next, dare I say, Revelation? Maybe they too should start handing out medals and have medal competitions! Someone attack Revelation. I spend time in their mIRC channel and you can see how bored they are. Give the crew something to do before Carlito resorts to the suicide button, poor guy!
Other articles we have are about the Points page update, how having a big mouth can get you `wacked` as well as the looming group of Al-Qaeda e-terrorists we seem to have around the game. Also, as always, we have our weekly articles such as the "Behind the Name" and the "Buzz Sound Off!" where players are stating their opinion on the Points Store update!
We are continually looking for writers. If you wish to be a buzz writer and think you have the experience and skills necessary (minding your spelling, grammar, punctuation and choice of article), please send your article sample to me through our email address, Buzz.Application@gmail.com. Please be patient as we look over them once very two weeks. Also, read the "Ticket to the Buzz Forum" article in issue 25 for a crash course on how to be the best writer you can possibly be!
