Relentless Take Over HolyMoly
Among the first of the new arrival crews were Resistance, formed in September 2007 by friends' Sabuein, RudeBox and xeaglex. But as seen in previous events , how long would this crew be able to follow in the footsteps of previous crews to take the plunge on to the statistics page.

Resistance saw it their priority to change the trend within Bootleggers. Revelation, currently holding four bullet factories and influencing bullet prices across the states were seen by Resistance as "arrogant" stated by Sabuein . But before anything was going to happen a plan of attack needed to be formed. At the fore-front of every great attack must be well equiped shooters.I had chance to speak with Sabuein about their plans and how they plotted the downfall of such a force as Revelation. Sabuein said "A new member had joined us, his name was Boomsoung. Boomsoung joined us because he believed that what we were going to do would be a great change for the entire Bootleggers community". But with such a challenge lying ahead of them they seeked help from other sources to back up their shootings rather than rely on one shooter. So with the aid of New York S.Don thadthemanroberts and with the help of two other Underground crews, The Covenant and Most Wanted who were also shooting for the spot of Momento Mori , we began the shootings on the 24th Jan. With good co-ordination between all the shooters it was only a matter of time until both crew spots fell. That time came soon leaving Resistance to take the Revelation spot and The Covenant, the place of Momento Mori.

Now a fully fledged crew Resistance did not have to wait long for more action. Bullet factories were shot for over the coming days as crews attempted to regain their places. This went on for a couple of days with shooters and various members of Resistance being killed, the defences of the crew were certainly tested but held up well. It was an attack which Resistance didnt expect which became their downfall. During the final attack on Resistance the crew spot fell to RomeoNeverDies a loyal member of Resistance, or so it would seem. The hit on RomeoNeverDies was unsuccessful and the shootings stopped there. I asked the for the details of the incident from Sabuein and he said "We didn't shoot him because we believed he was one of our friends, since he got vouches from more than one respected member within Resistance. But after approximately twelve hours suddenly he let someone in, and the new holder kicked all Resistance members by the new feature called the hard kick, which means we lost all what we had: cash, guns, protection, and our health fell to one percent". Shortly after this it emerged that the crew behind the takeover were Relentless. Its members soon filled the still warm seats left behind by Resistance members.

Relentless was formed by MoshpitNinja, Rocky and SilentF0rce. The crew was built on solid foundations with only very close friends entering the Underground crew. I approached MoshpitNinja for some background on the event an their plans for the future, he said " We got on the statistics page on Thursday morning after an opportunity arose to take over Resistance via an insider. It was pretty much unplanned and was really a spur of the moment thing, but i'm glad the chance was taken in the end " . But with such an amount of Resistance members homeless, not to mention Momento Mori and Revelation members looking to make a comeback to Bootleggers, Relentless will no doubt have their hands full in defending their spot. When asked about they're future plans MoshpitNinja said " What do we hope to achieve? It's hard to say as we don't really have any set goals apart from growth and survival, which I guess are goals high on the agendas of other crews too. Anything else that happens, just happens. We will just do what we have to do, whatever happens" .

It seems gone are the days of all out crew wars, the larger problem has now become who can you trust ? It is a game after all but the events of the last week have tested even some of the strongest friendships. Every crew will no doubt be watching its back and slamming down the shutters taking no chances that they may lose their spot in the same way Resistance did.
