In this segment, you will be given a weekly topic to debate about. You will have the chance to post your opinions, comments, criticism and ideas on the Game Forum, when the proper official topic is made. The topic is made at a random time during the week to ensure that many players get to eventually voice their opinion!
Next week, 5-10 (depending on how many we get) random opinions will be placed on the Buzz along with a new debate question!
THIS WEEK'S DEBATE!
BSF2000 is offering everyone 500 bullets per vote for the MPOGD.com "Game of the Month" award. Would you vote for the game regardless of incentives? Why or why not? What other incentives would you like to see given for your daily vote?
"Incentives are good. They encourage you to vote everyday, whereas if there wasn't any then you may not remember everyday "
~ LethalJunior
"Only voting for the bullets. What else would make me vote? BSF actually making the game better in any way possible. It's kinda boring lately."
~ Kerberos
"BSF being more active and cramming the game full of features would be a good incentive. He isn't nearly as active as admins on some other games I have visited. We had a sort of turn around last reset when after months of neglect and the game going to hell, he posted an apology and reset the game which seemed to be great but now he has just disappeared again. Although to be fair, he is still way more active than he was late last reset. I'd personally vote for BL in the MPOGD vote with bullets or not because I'd hope that the MPOGD win would attract more new users, which would make the game fun. BSF just has to work on new features and stuff that would make this game worthy of winning a game of the month award."
~ AzelasIV
"I'd for the game regardless. I feel as if it is going in the right direction with new features and updated features. That is why it deserves my daily vote, and will continue getting it despite any incentives to do so."
~ Nyxxinator
"Incentives are always a good thing. Although if you truly enjoy the game, you should be inclined to vote regardless."
~ JoeyDaAxe
"Well, to be truthfull, Yes. The chance of us getting the 500 bullets for every 500 votes did kind of "Bribe me" to vote. But of corse, I probably would have voted once or twice, maybe 2 times during the month if they didn't even offer us the bullets. But now, I vote every day. To be in truth, BSF shouldn't really bribe us. We should all be loyal enough to vote on our own free will. It is a game we all love, (or hate), but at lest we play it."
~ CompanionCube
"I would have voted for it just as much as I am now if I would have known the site to vote and everything because the more advertisement the game gets the more players/fun it gets as well. However the reward is a nice way to remind myself."
~ KingCoastie
"I'm not going to vote just to get bullets, i'm afraid i'll only vote if I actually think you are "Game of the Month." Well, you don't get my vote!"
~ TheReverend
"Great! More bullets inside the game means more killings. New players do receive their first bullets, so they can do their first kills. Perhaps killing some1 from the hitlist, and earn some money?
The more experienced killers, do receive a little help from BSF. After all 1k-5k bullets isnt that great amount to kill high ranked players, but all help is welcome."
~ IBiosoo
"To be honest I didn't vote yet, and I won't vote. The 500 bullets are not an incentive for me to vote, neither would be 5mill, or 50 points, or anything, because I'm simply to lazy to vote."
~ CorbusierV1
"Why make it bullets why not give cash instead, those that want to can buy bullets with the cash those that don't can GAMBLE. I would say its nice to see something for free but my opinion is let the players choose."
~ Limes
