Should there be updates given to less used features to liven them up? Or should they be given to improve the use of already popular features?

I strongly believe that the less used features of Bootleggers should be updated. The Classifieds page, for instance was in need of the ability to edit the number of points verified in a thread, but I think that the forum should be split up into miniature forums that hold all the Organized Crime threads, point threads, and casino threads respectively. That said, the Classifieds is one of the features most often used.

The question of updates really leads to whether the Administrator team wants to attract new users with new features, or if they want to keep current users happy by fixing what they already have. This issue goes back to revenue; does BSF2000 want money from the current players, or does he want money from new players who are interested in jumping into the action feet first?

Not being an economist, or having access to Bootlegger's point sales, I couldn't tell you how the point sales have varied with the updates and bug fixes. I'd bet good money saying that when Bootlegger's face was lifted. This wasn't a necessary update, but Bootleggers certainly does look better than how it did before the fix.

Every debate has more than one side. I decided to ask the question to the public for input. I got mostly the same response, which was surprising given the diversity of age, race, ethnicity, and location of Bootlegger's users.

"I think that updates should be given to the less used features to, as you put them to liven them up. They should be updated to give the game more of a "Ha Za." A example would be Crimes, add more, be able to steal from a Player, and have it worth more. Making the game better instead of adding new features would be better mainly because new features lead to new problems. It barely deserves a sentence to be answered."

"I personally think the quality of service to all existing features need updating, because this lag is driving me crazy. It's not really bad now, but if I compare it to earlier times it's like comparing a F1 car and a Ford Model T..."

"I agree with others when they say that all features should be updated. All features should be updated, even the less popular ones likes TOS."
