The Hitlist - Effective or Just For Show? |

Over the past week, the hitlist has been growing in popularity as a way to kill people again but is it really that effective? What type of hitlist does it take to get attention or the job done?
It seems nowadays no-one acts on bounties unless the targets are low ranks or there is enough money as a reward for a generous profit. I decided to ask a random BL user, DanielDayLewis, what the estimate price on a hitlist for a Don to actually be shot is, to which he replied he thought it was, "Around 20 million", and that "30-40 million will get it done in 4 hours".
This will vary by the player but even so, this goes back to the scenario, what if you have been scammed as a low rank? At the time you have limited resources and the way the hitlist currently works gives no chance for them to get revenge. It also raises the point that if it costs that much to hitlist such a high rank, you may as well buy the bullets and kill the target yourself.
There are many issues raised by the current state of the hitlist but when it comes down to it, if you want the job done, gather some money up or do the deed yourself because the amount of money just may not be enough.
