The Nation Don Interview. |

With it being another quiet week in Bootleggers, I thought I would catch up with the Nation Don who has graced our states page for quiet some time now. Schmankenv3 was kind enough to answer a few questions about the position and his future.
I first asked him how it felt, all that time ago, on becoming the Nation Don. He explained how he never really expected it as he was lower down the pecking order. Luck was in his favour it seemed, as previous Nation Dons were banned, clearing the path for him. He said, "It feels pretty cool to join an elite few that have actually attained the rank of Nation Don." I wondered how it felt now, being that he has adjusted to the Nation Don privileges. He said, "Im still enjoying it, especially the 5 minute searches to do some hitlist/requested kills". Even being swamped with bootmails is something he has adjusted to! Helping his friends rank with Organized Crimes and busting you all out of jail are also things he has grown very fond of late.
The main reason why he is still in his Nation Don suit, is the fact that he is a peaceful Nation Don! I asked him if he had any plans to change that, and he replied, "Thats just the type of player I am! Im sure people will still be thinking Ill be going on a mass crew / high rank wipe but I have no plans to do this". He followed that up by adding, "My game is built on integrity & respect so that will always be the basis of how I play".
Being a Nation Don must be a goal for all you Bootleggers, but is it the final achievement? Not for this Nation Don. He knows his time as Nation Don will end sooner or later but still has goals to reach. These include venturing out to all crews on the statistics page and well, basically being known as a kind, friendly Nation Don who didn't abuse his powers. The longest lasting Nation Don is also on his list of goals.
He has recently been in and out of crews, on various visits. I was interested to see if he had a real 'home' on Bootleggers. "The Clenched Fist has always been my home & after they disbanded recently-ish I joined Fortitude, as some of my friends were there," he told me. He then went on to say, he is visiting crews because he feels he should "spread the love". Then followed up with, "It just feels appropriate that the N.Don divides his time equally & doesnt just sit & fester in the same place all the time". He would like to carry on his visits to include even the Elite Guard, "Surely I should be welcomed into the Elite Guard for a visit too? Sabin, what do you say?"
To end this interview, I asked if there was anything he would like to add, to which he replied, "Everyone should bow to Lord Schmanken!" So there we have it, the Nation Don voices out his thoughts, feelings and plans exclusively to the Buzz. We wish you all the best Schmankenv3!
