Feature Suggestion? |
Subvenio |
|
As many of you have noticed, the Game Forum has recently been filled with topics containing new feature ideas. Understandable players wish to see their ideas implemented into the game and of course want feedback from the players that would also use this feature (if implemented). But what is actually needed for a proper Feature Suggestion?
I decided to get in contact with Sabin, and ask him how the Elite Guard feel about the topics and what would in fact, in their point of view, classify as a proper and potential feature. While asked if they would prefer the players to first create a topic and then a ticket which would include player feedback, Sabin clearly stated that, and I quote, "It should be noted that including the results of forum discussion in a help ticket will not increase the chance of it coming true." It should also be noted that if an idea is not submitted via the Help Desk, it cannot and will not be accepted by the Elite Guard as they normally do not participate in these forum discussion and according to Sabin, only accept suggestions via the Help Desk (for organizational reasons of course).
However, when asked how a vast variety of Feature Suggestion topics in the Game Forum makes the Staff feel, they have stated that it is not to be neglected, but encouraged as these kind of topics are Game-related and show an increase of player activities and participation in the Game community itself. However, players should not forget that a topic in the Game Forum, whether it be popular or not, whether it may contain a genuinely beneficial idea or a random one just to spice things up, will be overlooked if players do not submit a Help Desk ticket, bringing the idea to the attention of the Elite Guard.
So in the end, remember: keep up the thinking and keep those innovative ideas coming. But do not forget to send in a ticket! Happy gaming!
