New York- Buzz State Review |

Since the beginning of time, well Bootleggers time at least, New York has always been one of the most popular states in the game. It seems to be a hot spot where everyone had flocked to, and still continues to do so, despite the costs that come with the popularity. So what makes this state good and bad?
For starters this state always has a high population and this has to be due to the first mission as players must travel to New York to complete the mission. This is a plus in a number of ways. For casino owners this means plenty of potential gamblers and with them potential profits. Historically, casinos in the State of New York have always been valued at a high price. Mostly because of its popularity. If you're looking to do an Organized Crime and happen to be stuck in a state then New York is one of the best states to be stuck in; there's always an Organized Crime going on available to join and finish with time to spare. With the Bootlegging update more popular states are probably going to be better to do your booze transactions. More people means more buying and selling of booze, which means greater price swings both up and down. Cars also tend to be slightly cheaper in New York, not by much, but there tends to be an influx of cars in the state making driving much cheaper. And these days, every penny counts, right?
There are also some downsides to this popular state. One of the biggest downsides is the Organized Crime pay outs. Due to an update to OC's done quite some time ago more popular states tend to have much smaller amounts of cash in their safes. There is still a possibility of getting a very nice amount of money from an Organized Crime in New York, however, you would be better off committing a Bank robbery in a less popular state, where higher outcomes are almost guaranteed. While the Bullet Factory is currently held by a Moderator due to the previous holder breaking the rules and receiving a ban, the bullet prices are relatively low and affordable for the less fortunate. However, once it is introduced back into the game history will repeat itself and players will make the bullets more expensive than in other states. Bullet prices have leveled off at $2,500 per bullet, but before they had leveled off the New York Bullet Factory did lead the other states in bullet prices.
All in all New York is a pretty good state to be in. High population thatÂ’s great for casino owners and booze traders, fast OC's and cheaper cars.
