The Last of the Original Spots |

Through the highs and lows of BL life one crew has come so far, along with many others it now stands as being one of the longest surviving crews of the game. Not many crews can say they have been around for over two years, some such as The Deadly Alliance, The Gambino Family and Revelation hold greater titles of longer years but Event Horizon finally has something to celebrate. For over a month now Event Horizon have held the only remaining crew spot out of the original 10, better yet it is their original crew spot of this round and at this point in time is the only crew out of the original 10 to still hold a crew spot. While the crew spot has, on more than one occasion, fallen to the hands of their enemies, it has always been retrieved and promptly.
Event Horizon started out on the 4th of August 2005 and today boasts that they have never lost a crew spot without getting it back. Even last reset they held on to the same crew spot they started with. They have lost the spot no less than 4 times this reset despite many close calls. The first of which took place on the 13th of May 2007 where Voinik, an old high ranked member took over the crew from the inside and continued to make kills using the crew bullets gained from the bullet factory. 10 months later The Supremacy took the Event Horizon spot using their own insider, but within 48 hours they themselves had been taken over and Event Horizon was given the spot back. Then by accidentally passing the crew spot to a member they trusted, they lost control and members were hard kicked. With the help of the Nation Don they were able to kill the insider before every boss+ member was removed. Within 3 months of losing the spot to The Supremacy, Revelation struck and took the spot before promptly passing it to The Regiment, who were then taken over after an internal dispute and the spot was yet again given back to the original holders.
With the ever increasing amount of attacks and the somewhat lucky escapes by the skin of their teeth, some debate if they can hold on to this spot for much longer, with this article intentionally trying to jinx the situation. Of course both Revelation and The Deadly Alliance will be heading back to the statistics page sooner or later, so it is doubtful Event Horizon will be boasting that they are the only crew from the original 10 to grace the statistics page, but I doubt that will matter. After all, they have shown they are surprisingly resilient.
