Louisiana is one of the finest states for any bootlegger to call home. The only Southern state in the game, it has plenty of reasons for anyone to travel there.

By and far the biggest attraction that Louisiana offers is cheap bullets. It is one of the two states where the Bullet Factory will always be held by a Staff member and bullets will always be cheap. While bullets in other states cost anywhere from $600 to $2500 per bullet, bullets in Louisiana are the low price of only $100 per bullet. This is a huge attraction as almost anyone can afford to buy bullets for that price. While bullets are very cheap in Louisiana, they also sell out incredibly fast since just about anyone can afford them. You'll be lucky to be able to buy more than 200 bullets every hour while in Louisiana.

Louisiana is also the state that anyone wishing to complete the second mission must travel to. The second mission requires one to steal 3 Duesenbergs from Pennsylvania and ship them to Louisiana. For anyone looking for an easy mission to complete, this is certainly the easiest mission to complete if you don't want to spend the time stealing the cars yourself. After completing the first mission you can simply travel to Louisiana, buy 3 Pennsylvania Duesenbergs from the Buy page, and you're done with the mission. It'll cost you quite a bit, but if you've got the money it's an easy mission to do.

Because of these pluses for anyone visiting Louisiana the online population tends to be high, but not nearly as high as more popular states. This results in Organized Crimes that have a vault that tends to be about average to slightly below average with the occasional really good vault. Car prices tend to run above average for all cars used in Organized crimes when compared to other states so driving in Louisiana can be quite expensive.

All in all Louisiana is a great state to visit, especially for those planning a killing spree. While it might take quite a bit of time to amass enough bullets for a killing spree, its very cost effective for those who aren't in a rush.
