Welcome to issue number 87 of the Bootleggers' Buzz!
A rather bland week turns to what seems as a game of hot potato for the Nation Don spot. After Nation Don number sixteen, LittleMissSunshine, was finally pulled from her long Nation Don streak, we saw another female grab the reigns and rule over the game-- for a total of three days! The game of hot potato has seemed to cease... for now. Who could the next Nation Don be? Only time will tell.
On to other news, we are sadly saying goodbye to our long term writer, head writer and short term Co-Editor, Drew (JamesDean). After a supposed suicide, Drew has stepped down from his duties here and, rumor has it, have gone underground. His reasons are not known to me, and I am very sad to see him go, but I wish him the best of luck in the game and out!
A very nifty and convenient feature has surfaced this week as prior point-buyers are given a bit of a break as BSF2000 allows reoccurring point purchasers to buy points with the luxury of having them verified automatically! The Buzz was intending on contacting the administrator for confirmation if the automatic verification is linked to an account name, IP address or credit card number, but we were unable to contact the busy administrator.
As always, we have our Behind the Name, A Year Back and our winner for last week's contest! Remember, the Behind the Name is a random choosing of players and asking to be part will just lose your chances for the future.
We are always looking for writers. If you have what it takes to become a writer, feel free to read the article from issue 85 to see what we look for. Please send a sample article of a recent Bootleggers event to Nyxxie's current name (NYX2000) and she will personally look into it as soon as possible. Remember to mind your grammar, punctuation and spelling. If you are dead by the time we contact you, please submit the same article all over again!
Remember, anyone can write a freelance article and they are obviously free to do so. They are a chance for each of you to have a voice about the game and possibly share any thoughts that you may have with the BL community. We haven't seemed to get many lately, so get moving and speak your minds! Also, be sure to check out www.blhelp.com, as advertised here.
