WELCOME to issue number 89 of the Bootleggers Buzz!
A late publish this week results in some opinions to flare in the Game Forum, but have no fear the Buzz is here with some great articles for you to read. I thank you all with your patience this week!
The Bootleggers' world has been filled, this week, with some minor tweaks of features, such as the date display update to some large changes, such as the Organized Crime update! We also witnessed a short rollback after a server change and/or update took place in the game.
If you weren't here to witness the rollback, Bootleggers resembled its pre-reset Chaos Mode, persay, as players went wild. Giving out thousands of points, millions of dollars and shooting anyone and everyone they could search for. Crews allowed anyone and everyone in, and even raised their member level to reach a whopping 200!
Fun it was until a rollback happened and the server proved to be less laggy, thank heavens! With the rollback causing some loss in play time, BSF2000 decided to grant everyone a temporary six-hour OC interval time. Even days after the rollback, we are still enjoying the six hour Organized Crimes! Thanks BSF!
Along with the minor and major tweaks, we watched as players tested the strength of one of the most powerful and long-lasting crews on the stats, The Deadly Alliance. And although their strength was questioned, it was also proved to be strong as they remained on top! It will take a lot more to take down this crew! However, it wasn't all hunky dory for crews this week as Club Boogie "hustled" their way into a crew spot, this time taking over The Legends. And we can't help to mention the long-awaited return for one of Bootleggers' most feared crews, The Black Horde. Welcome back to the statistics, only time will tell if you can hold up to your past history!
As always, thanks to the Buzz's Head Writer, Mika, we have the Behind the Name and A Year Back. Both are weekly articles which everyone has come to love. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do!
We are always looking for writers. If you have what it takes to become a writer, feel free to read the article from issue 85 to see what we look for. Please send a sample article of a recent Bootleggers event to Nyxxie's current name (NYX2000) and she will personally look into it as soon as possible. Remember to mind your grammar, punctuation and spelling. If you are dead by the time we contact you, please submit the same article all over again!
Remember, anyone can write a freelance article and they are obviously free to do so. They are a chance for each of you to have a voice about the game and possibly share any thoughts that you may have with the BL community. We haven't seemed to get many lately, so get moving and speak your minds! Also, be sure to check out www.blhelp.com, as advertised here.
Enjoy the read, everyone and have a wonderful next week!
