Missions, are they really worth it? |

There has been much deliberation ever since the start of the reset on whether or not missions are actually worth it. The outcome to this has usually been no, theyre not. And that is in fact true. But lets look at the bullets before we go confirming things as "true", as the money varies for everybody, and so would be too hard to compare.
You have to use an average of 5,000 bullets for every one, after the mission "killing a spy", excluding some exceptions, and your reward is usually a few thousand bullets less than what you use. So why do people do them? Is it for the cash? No, because you lose out on that as well, so it must be for the experience... but is there any point to that either? An OC gives you upwards of 25K of profit having only spent that much in the first place, where as a mission gives you less than you use, and an OC gives you even more experience. So surely missions arent done for that either.
In the old days before the reset, I remember finishing the last mission with over 20,000 bullets having only bought 500, but that was when everybody was lining up to make topics in the game forum about, "Whats the next mission" or "whens the next Mission coming out," and when bullets cost $30,000 each!
I know that apparently BSF made the missions like this to stop the inflation that ruined the game last time from happening again, but in doing so, has he ripped out a vital part of the game? Has he taken away another feature that we all used to love? In my opinion, he had to do it. In order to stop inflation he had to do something and if he wouldve changed OC's again there would have been absolute uproar over the matter - but this is only what I think so I asked a member of my underground crew about what they thought of the current mission rewards:
Question 1: How many of the missions have you done?
Answer: None of them.
Question 2: You havent done them all, why is this?
Answer: They don't have any profit; in fact, I would actually lose money from doing them!
Question 3: Do you think that by reducing the rewards for missions to reduce inflation BSF has taken out a vital part of the game?
Answer: Yes I do think so actually.
Question 4: Can you think of any other ways to stop inflation?
Answer: Nope sorry, nothing on my mind right now.
Ok well thanks for answering the questions.
No problem!
I'd like to thank Goodhearteddevil for filling out the previous questionnaire.
So here we have a different view to mine, somebody who does not see the point in any of the missions. Some people say it all comes down to the cash in your wallet, some say its your rank that matters, and some say its the cars in your garage... but regardless of which of these categories you fall into, doing missions, from now on, just won't help.
