Ok well we all get them slashes in our profile when we update it and sometimes its hard to find and eliminate them all... so here I am to tell you how it happens and how to stop it.
First off: how it happens - It happens when you have a " ' or \ anywhere in your profile when you update it twice in a row. For example; if you update your quote from the "You successfully updated your quote!" page.
How to stop it from happening is as simple as why it happens. If you update your quote and for whatever reason you need to update it again just click on the profile link to take away the "You successfully updated your quote!" message from the top and it won't add the annoying backslashes.
What I mean by this is to simply open you're profile and put a ' up top so you can see it, click on Update Profile and see the slash, go click on update again and check out your profile... then do the same but reloading the page in-between by clicking the link only.
