The Fall of Point Prices |
CharlesLucianoIX |
|
Although no proper money holders' killing spree took place recently. Point prices had fallen down to around 400k Per Point this week and have been around that figure since. The Buzz tried to get people's ideas on how inflation suddenly went down without attributing any reasoning of our own. It seems people didn't agree on one specific reason, but a group of them that may have deflated the market.
BarneyRubble thinks the reason is: "The cap on land; It stopped billions coming into the game. No-one would buy points for the high price because they didn't have endless amounts of cash! So the point sellers had to start bringing the price down to be able to sell."
RizzotI believes the matter is: "very strange... But then again - they shot up to around 800K pretty quick when land was worth billions so I guess it's just a natural correction - or an exploit"
Stroopwafelv2 is claiming the reason is the boss of the reset team. Stroopwafelv2 says "the boss is giving points away to all crew members for 100k p.p".
Another rationale given by PatientlyWaiting is: "not having casino owners with good profits there aren't many good max's at the moment."
The point prices had reached around a million per point but for one of the reasons mentioned above, or another reason, the prices are back to the ground.
