The Increasing Frustration of Organised Crimes. |

As I write this freelance article, instead of my usual Writer section articles, you may be wondering what part of Organised Crimes (OCs) I'm talking about, because I'm sure many of you feel frustrated about a whole number of issues with them.
I am talking about replying to bootmails with regards to joining Organised Crimes. You may of course be thinking to yourself, "it doesn't matter, you're in a crew". Well, believe it or not, not every crew member of any given crew can OC together all of the time. This will of course leave us with the same trials and tribulations, especially if you're a low rank.
I'm not saying that it directly affects those lower down the rank chain, but it tends to do so, as a whole. To further my point, this article is not being written in regards to being against rankism. If high ranks want to OC with fellow high ranks, who have survived long enough to earn that right, then so be it.
No, I'm more concerned with general bootmails. Let us take for example a user of Legendary Godfather rank, who has advertised for leading their OC as shown:
Quote: LGF doing OC in Michi - MrX (Add Reply)
Bootmail me.
Now, it all seems fine, until you get to calmly accepting their request to bootmail them since you can OC in Michigan. Whether you are a mediocre rank such as Hitman - Boss or even as high as Godfather+, and you bootmail them, having tested this a number of times during the past weeks, the chances are you don't get a reply.
This, my friends, is not a new thing. In fact, as I recall, there has been an article similar to this written in the Buzz, but the issue has remained for quite a while now. Maybe I'm missing something or not reading between the lines, because in said example, nowhere does it state a rank minimum or that they are in a hurry.
I have ended up stuck as to why a reply isn't generally given. You would think that if they had the time to choose any rank rather than those who provide the most XP, the user would have the common decency to reply to a bootmail which they requested from possible available BL players. Instead, they tend to flick through their bootmails looking for the most prosperous offers and leaving those others to assume that they haven't accepted you for their OC.
If you happen to be like MrX, the Legendary Godfather in any way when it comes to OCs, I simply request that in order to maximise the efficiency of the OC community, you do a number of things, just as common courtesy:
1. If you are trying to look for certain ranks, don't waste people's time and state that on your thread.
2. If there's a chance that you won't have time to reply to everyone, also state that on your thread, it doesn't take a minute, I promise.
3. Lastly, if you get bootmails that do fit all your first-stated OC requirements, but you don't want their custom for whatever reason, just simply reply and say, "No thank you."
I guess the point I'm trying to make here is that a little bit of effort can go a long way even if it is just common decency. I think that just about wraps up my rant. Hope you enjoy the read, and take it in, and have a wonderful day.
You stay classy.
