Bootleggers Shortcuts! NYX2000
Some of us have been playing Bootleggers for as long as the game has been around; through all the clicks and the wandering from page to page, crime after crime, we fail to sometime notice how to do our daily tasks with just a bit more ease and efficiency. That is where shortcuts come in, shortcuts that players don't seem to know are there when playing on a day to day basis. Did you know you can set your equipment and ready up in an Organized Crime all at the same time? No? Then keep reading for more interesting facts and shortcuts about the game we have all come to love, sometimes dislike, but yet just can't stay away from (*wink* to all you "quitters," who love going Underground for a couple weeks instead!)

The Organized Crime Shortcuts!
Did she just say Shortcuts? Multiple? Yes, I did! Read on!
  • Sending multiple invites out at once: You can send multiple invites out at once to up to 7 other players if you know all of the account names of those you want to invite. Just put all their names in the boxes and then press "invite!" All invitations will be sent out at once. No need to do this daunting task one by one anymore!
  • Setting your equipment and readying up at the same time is now an easy way for you to get ready for an Organized Crime in good timing. All you have to do is choose the equipment you want in the drop down menu and press "READY!" The equipment will automatically be purchased and you will already be ready for the Organized Crime. Nifty!


Forum Shortcuts
We know you use the forums more often than you do crimes, so there should be a shortcut somewhere around here... ahh yes! I found some!
  • (Add Reply): Some players who roam and troll the forums don't even know this little handy button can save them a lot of scrolling down time when wanting to reply to a thread. All you need to do is press the (Add Reply) button and you will automatically be sent down to the reply section where you can bash, comment, or answer any thread! At first, this feature was only useful in Internet Explorer, but thanks to Sabin, it is now readily available for all those Firefox users to! It is unknown to me if it works for any other browser such as Safari and Opera. Anyone using those, feel free to post a reply below!
  • For those who love those emotions, don't forget that each one is clickable and instead of over using your colon key, all your emotion needs are a click away. So start rolling those eyes, people love when you do that!
  • If you are just using one set of BB codes, and don't want to change the color or type throughout, there is no need to end the code with a closing tag. So feel free to chose any color you want, bolded, italics, size it up! There is no need to close them for them to work!


Help Desk Tickets
As if it wasn't easier enough, Help Desk tickets got even easier!
  • Did you know that there are some help desk tickets that no matter if you press "Ticket Privacy Option" to the Elite Guard or not, it gets automatically sent to them? The list below is all the ticket categories that, despite if you want it to the Help Desk Operators or not, the Elite Guard staffers will get it anyway!
    • Feature Suggestion (Administrators ONLY)
    • Hacked!
    • Points Purchases (BSF2000 ONLY)
    • Problem with HDO/staff (Administrators ONLY)
    • Report a Dupe
    • Report Bug/Glitch
    • Report Exploit/Cheat
    • Report TOS Violation
