The New York State Don Lets Loose! |

On 1st October, everything seemed peaceful in the world of Bootleggers, however this was all about to change. SteveRubell, the New York State Don at the time, had been carefully planning a shooting. He made use of his 5 minute searches and began shooting various players, some being members from crews including Chaos Soldiers and Event Horizon.
The State Don himself made a topic shortly after he had finished his spree with him claiming that the shootings had been done by Club Boogie. This was later denied. These killings prompted a member from Event Horizon to use a proportion of his money for a huge hitlist.
Depletion (A.K.A Tynos), known for his gambling luck, decided to use some of his money to hitlist the Don for $1,000,000,000. This caused uproar in the Game Forum with a whole host of topics being posted about the large amount of money put on a single person's head. However, to the astonishment of everyone, a further $1,000,000,000 was added bringing the total hitlist to 2 billion BL dollars, the largest hitlist of a regular player for a long time.
The Buzz caught up with SteveRubell before his inevitable death to ask whether he could answer some questions. He gave us a response to one question; why he shot the various players. He replied, "Simple: They have been all jerks, or money holders". With that, he met his unfortunate end.
Whether he was able to gain most of that $2 billion by letting a bodyguard shoot him for a mere 100 bullets is not known to all, but he has definitely left his mark on the game with a reported $35 billion being released out of the Game.
With another State Don dead, a space is waiting for the next one to take his place among the highest-ranked players of Bootleggers, whether they will commit a similar spree in the future, is still to be found out.
