Buzz Survey #1 Results Nyxxie
Here are the results to last week's Buzz Survey. You will see these big surveys about once a month, so once every 4 issues. This month's survey was regarding a restriction on the forums. If you took this survey, we thank you for your participation. Here are our results!

Question 1: Do you think the forums should be restricted and only be used by those above a certain rank?



As per our results, we found that most players do not want a restriction, but the difference in a yes vote to a no vote were only by 1.19%.

Question 2: Do you think doing this will limit the trolls, advertisers, etc?



The results here show that 51.81% of players do not think that this restriction would stop forum trolls, advertisers, etc. Perhaps these players feel that obvious trolls and advertisers would take the time to rank just to cause havok upon the forums?

Question 3: What about the legitimate players who want to ask questions? Do you think they should be referred to the Help Desk for questions? Or, should any rank be able to post in the Game Forum.



The majority here feel that the Game Forum should be restriction free, with the limits placed on the Off Topic Forum, where forum trolling runs rampant.

Question 4: How long have you been playing Bootleggers?



We asked this question so we would know if the results were the way they were due to the majority taking the test being "noobs." This was confirmed untrue as the mean timeframe of game play was between 3-5 years, or more!

Question 5: Would you consider yourself a forum troll?

The majority, 88.75%, or 71 voters, felt they were not forum trolls.

Question 6: How often do you use the forum as opposed to playing the game?



The average voter, 51.22%, feel they rank more than use the forums but chat occasionally, while only 7.32% strictly use the forum and do not play the game. This was good to know because we were more interested in gathering data from legitimate players than forum "whores."

Interesting Facts
21 test takers were from the UK. 18 test takers were from USA and coming in third, 17 (or 215.52%) were from the Netherlands!

The average age of test takers were between the ages of 19-21 (38.46%), coming in second place was players ranging in 22-25 years old at 19.23% and third place, 16-18 year olds at 16.67%!

We had a total of 85 test takers.
