Bootleggers Off Topic Forum: Bars Neverender
In our first effort to bring the general public what they want The Buzz has pulled a topic idea from the consensus and a lot of players seemed to want information on more non-poignant topics. “Randomness,” as one player so aptly titled his interests of the Buzz, is what we’re going to try and bring you in one aspect or another. This week the Buzz was able to catch up with GamePro and BloodSexandCandy to discuss their Off Topic Bar “OMG!!! Like OMG!”

The Buzz :: Why did you make the “OMG!!! Like OMG!” bar?
GamePro :: This bar is a remake of the original bar. One black day in the history of BL the usual bar members were offline, and apparently quite a lot of topics were made that day; our first bar has gone to a better place.
BloodSexandCandy :: [In regards to the original bar.] We were kicked from [a] topic really for whoring it too much. We were talking about just what ever we wanted to and the maker got mad because it was so off topic and kicked us. So I made us our own place not expecting it to turn into what it did. It had like 5,000 or more before it managed to die. [It died] because I managed to get sick and couldn’t get on for two days and Guns [GamePro] couldn’t get on one of those days either. A lot of people were making throw away threads so it got pushed through the pages.

The Buzz :: Why would you make another bar when bars like JDM's and the Dutch are going strong? Do you think they hinder your attendance at all?
GamePro :: Different people, different languages. I think MegAnn [BloodSexandCandy] made the first bar after we were kicked out of a random thread. We never had the intention to become a reasonably big bar. We were just screwing around having fun.
BloodSexandCandy :: Nah especially since JDM is one of our bars regulars. We’re just a group of friends who made a place to talk and really will welcome anyone as long as they try to cause problems. [It’s] nothing competitive, just fun.

The Buzz :: What did "OMG!!! Like OMG!" mean to you when you made it the first time and what does it mean to you now that it's continued to grow?
GamePro :: It means “Oh my God!!! Like, Oh my God!” No just kidding, MegAnn can tell you that.
BloodSexandCandy :: Well originally it was made from boredom but now it’s a lot more. It would be awful if it died it’s a lot like a home here. I know I personally have made some great friends from the regulars in the bar!

The Buzz :: Why do you think the bars are so popular? Whatever happened to just BMing each other?
BloodSexandCandy :: Well we still do that but it’s a lot better to talk in groups you get a lot more of other people’s opinions on a subject and it’s also a lot easier to make friends in a more social climate. It’s not about the attention; it’s just more comfortable to talk in groups.

When asked for any final comments BloodSexandCandy asked The Buzz her most famous question; “How do you make an Iglu [Igloo]?” To which we replied with a very long description of how architecturally challenging it is to construct an Iglu with independent blocks of ice and how to properly heat the inside with a stone lamp. She declined to comment.
