Lower OC Payouts Sean

This week the Buzz did a bit of research into the lower Organized Crime payouts, which seem to be occurring for everybody at the moment. A topic was made on the Game Forum asking players whether they thought it was for the best or if it would hinder the growth of the game as a whole.

The topic received a few replies with a small debate kicking off between players. Altrozero claimed that as long as you had a fair leader you would be okay. He said that a few thousand profit is “good considering the experience you get.” Lyrix was convinced that the lower payouts were a result of players doing Organized Crimes as often as possible, which has been known to reduce the rewards. He went on to say, “I guess when things calm down, people who aren't as hardcore will stop OCing every time their timer is up, the rewards will rise. Also, people getting richer and being able to afford 2x Thompsons easily, 3x Thompsons, 4x Thompsons.”

Annallja, however, was not happy with the low payouts. She said, “It's a game and I don't think it should be as hard as it is to get established.” She claimed that she usually made a loss on her Organized Crimes - even with a fair percent.

Bee disagreed and reminded everyone that Organized Crimes were never about making money, but more for the experience. “As long as you break even, it’s okay in my eyes,” they said. They went on to say that a new player “naturally has some catching up to do” and that anybody with a friendly enough nature should be fine.

So, DO the lower Organized Crimes payouts hinder the progress? The majority of the game seems to think not. After all, there are other means to acquire lots of cash other than Organized Crimes. The conclusion seems to be that as long as you’re nice enough and find yourself a fair leader, you’ll have nothing to complain about.
