Welcome to issue 21 of the Bootleggers Buzz!
Seventeen out of fifteen, only two crews remaining before the maximum amount of available spot matches the amount that is actually on the statistics. Hardly a week ago the amount of spots that can be created was halved and already the drop of the number of crews that is currently on the statistics can be called significant. This caused a drama filled weak, with most of the real action happening Saturday and Sunday. This meant scratching several leaves and a busy welcome for our two new writers.
Nevertheless they were ready and willing to get started, so we allowed them to get their Buzz hats straight away so they could start gathering information. A task which they found harder than expect, at times. With more than one shooter or crew refusing to answer questions. However they managed to overcome the difficulties they experienced and managed to submit their articles so they could be implemented in this issue of the Buzz.
The main attacks of this week were the wipe of Gentlemen of Fortune, mostly caused by a vicious attack by Smoke and Mirrors, however the crew was finished off by another player. Avarice was another crew that bit the dust this week with The Order being attacked at the same time, by what appeared to be the same group of people. Sadly the shooters refused to comment, so our report regarding the event is kind of one side. Alas, it cannot be helped.
Apart from shootings we also witnessed updates this week, or alterations so you please. The Crime feature received its long promised update and crimes are now easier to commit. Furthermore, several other prices and outcomes were changed as well. The responses from the community in regard to these changed differed.
Last but not least we two freelance articles that each cover the changes of the past week, and of course our weekly segments 'Behind the Name', 'The Weekly Flash' and 'Bootleggers Game Statistics' have been included. Do not despair if you have not been selected for the 'Behind the Name' of this issue. Please pick a new random question and (re-)submit the form, who knows, you could be lucky in the next issue!
Everyone who likes to write and would like to write for the Bootleggers Buzz is encouraged to submit an application article at the bottom of this page. Make sure to pay close attention to your choice of subject, grammar, punctuation and overall article quality. We will do our very best to respond to your application as soon as we can.
Please provide feedback to the articles and feel free to leave a rating so our writers can get a general impression of how you liked their work.
Thank you for reading the Bootleggers Buzz, we will be back next week and hopefully so will you. Until then, take care and stay safe.

Gentlemen of Fortune was one of the crews that was wiped in this eventful week on Bootleggers. The Buzz discovered that the crew had not only been allied with Smoke and Mirrors, but also had ties with The Syndicate. The latter were reason for Smoke and Mirrors to open fire.

Avarice Get Their Colour Stolen |
Leweyy |

Crew colour is not something you'd think would be taken seriously, unless you're part of Virtual Reality and you're known for your striking orange strike across your profile. The downfal of Averice was an opportunity for Virtual Reality to reclaim its former color.

Thumbs up for the Staff |
Aldarion |
|
In my past articles Ive criticized the staff for the way the game ended up in this round and I still stand by that. However, Im not a complete jerk who is just whining all the time and I am almost amazed by the way the staff acted this week, so a compliment is in order. But were not there yet, this week was just a start.
