Welcome to issue 41 of the Bootleggers Buzz!
As always at Sunday evenings on Bootleggers it is time for a brand new Buzz, fresh from the virtual press. These Editor Note starts with a congratulations to our former Head Writer Sean (SeanFailKnox). Yes, former, for Sean will no longer be part of the Buzz Team as Head Writer. To our pleasure, he was willing to climb up the ladder and by doing so accepted the position as Co-Editor. Congratulations are in order! Sean, like we know him, started In fact, part of this layout was created by him, he is leaving his marks already and the results are looking good.
There were more changes to our team this week as we got two new writers. Happy as they were with their new job, both KittehX and Poison introduced themselves in their own, perhaps a little unusual though original, way. This was even before our newest writer Poison gave us something else to write about as he attempted to kill the States page's top row of Bullet Factories. He failed. Only just.
There was more action this week, though. In short, Eternal Labyrinth was wiped, The Clenched Fist was attacked by enemies in an attempt to force the crew to surrender the California Bullet Factory, and, to end this summary, Pure was wiped to be replaced by Fierce Allegiance. This was not everything that happened in the land of crews, however. Dirty House was attacked by Smoke and Mirrors as the latter hosted one of its other games. Also, the crew that claimed not to exist now ceases to exist, do you see something strange there (we sure did); The Syndicate announced its retirement from the game.
This week's Buzz has more to offer. Altro has another comic lined up for you, as well as an article that zooms in on an attempt to gain Bootleggers some new players. Of course we also have our weekly segments, 'Staff Member of the Week' (this week featuring Rod), 'Behind the Name', 'The Weekly Flash', and the 'Bootleggers Game Statistics'. Additionally, Nyxxie has also submitted her player project once more for you to enjoy. The Buzz Contest of last week was a huge success and the Buzz would like to thank all participating parties. A brief list and of course the name of the winner can be found in The Weekly Flash.
Even though DeliciousX (Kitteh) has joined the Buzz Team the freelance section is not empty. Razure shares his thoughts on why he feels the game is dying, and GeePeeNRG has submitted another article in his 'Re-doing Bootleggers' saga, this time focusing on Establishments. If you, like these two, feel like sharing your thoughts or ideas with the community then do not hesitate to send in a freelance article. As long as the articles are within the game rules and TOS they will be likely to be published.

This week was certainly unlucky for Eternal Labyrinth, the crew was a victim of two accounts that ended the short stay of EL on the statistics with a rain of bullets. When the shootings ended, the Buzz encountered two names that were responsible for this bloody massacre.
