Staff Member of the Week! SeanFailKnox
This week, Rod was chosen at random to be featured as the staff member of the week. Oddly, I was unable to get in contact with this current Moderator for an interview. After sending him a message, I got no reply. Oh well! I still have the views of the community to present to you, most of which seemed to allude to the same thing...

Blunty was one of the first players to give their opinion saying, "I like Rod.. we used to have a chat a fair bit last round! Haven't seen him around much lately though." It's a pretty universal opinion that most of the current Moderators aren't on enough to the PLAYERS' standards, at least, so I investigated further. iPoison then piped up with a balanced comment by saying that we can't really judge how well staff members do their job, especially when it mostly involved punishing players by banning (a process that primarily takes place between two people - the banned and the moderator). However, as for his lack of activity, we can't know whether he has a good reason for being so inactive lately. Probably a fair analysis of the situation. This could have been challenged when Nyxxie joked that if I was able to get in contact with Rod, I should tell him that she could use some help. This at least indicated that the other Moderators have no idea where he has vanished to. After much more abuse was hurled in Rod's direction by the players, the thread was pretty much finished when BonjourRedHerrings informed us that Rod has a huge rod. Great.

So this seems to be a case of a staff member who simply isn't living up to the players' expectations. Why? We can only speculate and hope that Rod comes back soon, as no one seemed to be able to name reasons why Rod did a bad job... while he's around, at least.
