Welcome to issue 43 of the Bootleggers Buzz!
After an issue published by Sean it is now my turn to one again press that shiny 'Publish issue!' button. A button that got an exclamation mark added not too long ago. An exciting change I must admit. Anyway, lets get down to business. The week was pretty quiet for as far as shootings and massive sprees are concerned. We witnessed the return of the State Dons and of the Nation Don, but these will no doubt need more time to stock bullets for a shooting. If they are planning one in the first place, that is.
We did catch what was going on, however. Even if it was not that much. The ongoing battle between The Clenched Fist and Komodo is of course in this issue. After winning themselves a spot and a bullet factory, Komodo was quick to learn that things can happen quite fast on Bootleggers, despite the current kill feature being considered slower than its predecessor. The second crew to be wiped this week was The Usual Suspects. As usual, they were probably the suspect in a crime and got shot or something. Or something? Yes, this is supposed to make you curious. Go and read the article, it will be more up to date than my rambling I can assure you.
We also have a special 'Did you know' for you this week. With Altro at the helm, the entire Buzz Team rallied together to find interesting facts about the members of the staff. In need of blackmail material or just genuinely interest? Go take a look! The same Altro has hand drawn yet another comic for this week. One has to give him credit for keeping it up this long, for credit is certainly due.
Other weekly articles are of course 'Behind the Name', 'Bootleggers Game Statistics', 'The Weekly Flash' and the 'Obituaries', this week covering not one but two weeks of deaths. Event Horizon is this week's crew of the week. and the icing on the weekly cake comes from our very own Poison, who has written yet another song and is looking to sell it for points so he can reset his OC timer. Make sure to go and take a look at the 'Bootleggers Buzz Kareoke'.
