Crew of the Week: Event Horizon Refu


What made you choose ‘Event Horizon' as your crew name?
When EH was first started (over 5 yrs ago which means you are lucky I remember this!) the crew members at that time suggested a bunch of names. We then held a vote, and Event Horizon won.

What do you stand for as a crew?
'Family, Unity, Honour' (I think that’s what the pics say). We are a group of people, who have created our own 'Family' in a Mafia game, and the core group will stand together and back each other come heaven or hell (again on the profile pics I think).

What is your main purpose for having the crew spot?
Gives us a place to get to know each other and have some fun, and not have to deal with the assholes in the public forums.


What is your crew structure, and who are members of this structure?
Currently:
Boss - BettyB
Council - RouseSucks, NotAnotherTynMovie, Fucklemax and HanLubsNummy
Recruiters - IceIceMiny, SniperwolfIV

However this could change at any given moment.


Position Explanation (what the people with the position of Boss, Council, Recruiter do)
They do as they are told or else! Actually, council pretty much takes care of the crew with all decisions being made with their involvement (when possible), however any one of council can make emergency decision which would be 100% backed by everyone else.

Please tell me some history about your crew, why, how and when was it established.
Event Horizon started on the 4th of August 2005, when BettyB and Zoltra88 left their previous crew The Legion, who were no more. Little did anyone know that the crew would be around a full five years later, and more impressively, have never disbanded and still have one of the original bosses. Like all crews, they have had high points and low points, but unlike many, have weathered the storm.


How is your recruiting policy?
We will look at an application from anyone... If you have a vouch it's better though. However, if you have no vouch but put together an extremely good application, and are willing to work hard for a spot, you still have a chance to get into EH.


The opinion about the crew by the Buzz (Refu)
Overal this crews looks very organized especially because they are already around for over 5years having the same crewboss, and alot of its same members who will do anything for the crew, Event Horizon was visited and internal they were also very organized and nice, and most important having fun.
The words that came out most were “Family, Unity and Honour” which have been they keywords for Event Horizon since they were founded.
