A lot of accounts suddenly began going down on the Sunday afternoon of September 5. DennisBergkamp, a Dutch player and former boss of the crew The Knights Who Say Ecky Ecky Ecky Ecky Ecky Pkang Zoop Boing Zoomrowrm was responsible.
The plan of the shooting was to shoot about seventy accounts, using a total 320,000 bullets. With a former crew as its organizer, old times must have felt that bit closer again. DennisBergkamp himself, however, was not too pleased with every aspect of it, expressing his dislike of the new Kill feature and the shoot-outs that automatically come after every kill. While still shooting, he took the time to talk to us and to give the Buzz the information we craved. Maybe up to 2 hours, I don't know, he said, indicating how much time he expected to need to complete his shootings.
Too many of us quit playing and it wouldn't be the same without them. We had a small core of players even back then, so now a crew would just be pointless, DennisBergkamp told the Buzz in response to those who hoped the crew of a couple of rounds back would make a return. The shootings were in fact organized by its members and carried out by one of its bosses, but it was no announcement or a flash of what was to come. The accounts were picked because they looked like they could have money on them and I felt like annoying some people. I just shot a Notoriously rich guy, I'm thinking he'll be pissed, the shooter, DennisBergkamp, said. They're pretty much just random accounts. I have no problems with any of the current crews, so I didn't feel much for shooting any of them.
With no crews being targeted and potential moneyholders being shot, it may just be possible for someone to log in, only to find they have lost a lot of money they worked hard for to keep stashed. Something could truly be classed as an unhappy event. However, Buddha taught us there is more in this life than material items. For those who potentially lost funds tonight, one can only hope that to be true.
