Did you know that if a Help Desk Operator dies because of their job they will be given their rank and money back? While this rule is very rarely instigated, due to the lack of evidence, it happened earlier this month. Both BuzzLew, now xLew and SeanFailKnox, returned as xSean were “resurrected” to the surprise of the game forum. From the data we have, it would appear this is the first time in the past three years the rule has been used.
Did you know that three of the current Help Desk Operators have been State Don or higher? Admittedly one before they had made it to the desk. It shows why the first fact in this document was rarely used.
Did you know that State Dons get a percentage of Gun/Protection sales in each state, Nation Dons get a percentage of all the states? This does not include protection and gun bought from the points page, or crew packages or weapons and protection. So, if your friend is a State Don why not travel to his state and let your friend get a percentage of the money?
Did you know that it takes a minimum of 60 hours or two and a half days to fully upgrade your gun? Whereas with protection you can buy it all at once, you must enter the shooting range before you can next upgrade your weapon. During this time you cannot commit crimes, do organized crimes, train in arm wrestling or steal cars. You can however visit jail.
Did you know that the jail busting helps you rank? Only slightly, however, some players have managed to get from Scum to Pee Wee only on busts.
Did you know you can skip the rank of Pee Wee? If you take part in an Organized Crime as a Scum you are likely to rank directly to Thug. It was possible in rounds gone by to skip both the rank of Pee Wee and Thug with an Organized Crime, however, it would appear this is no longer possible.
Did you know it used to be possible to commit an Organized Crime without a car? In fact it had a higher chance of success than if you had used a car. You still, surprisingly, had to have a driver. Doing so became illegal as it was classed as a bug, shortly afterward the feature was changed removing the bug.
Did you know of the nine cars in the game most, if not all, do not have wheels attached (excluding the spares)? The images of the cars when you steal them and also the images on the Buy page, show that for most of the cars the wheels are not attached to anything. It is possible the Comet and Beauford wheels are, however, it is still unclear. Maybe this is why in an Organized Crime you were best not to use a car.
Did you know that while killing someone you must use a car but you will not lose the car? It used to be the case that the car was removed, however, you now keep it. Why it was changed we do not know, many suspect it was accidently left this way after the chaos period of the last round.
Did you know that Bootleggers.us rounds tend to end in what is known as a chaos period? Details vary from time to time, however, it is normally the case that everyone is given several million bullets, made a very high rank, given the best gun, the best protection, several billion dollars and the timers are removed for travelling, killing and shoot-outs. As you may be able to imagine, complete chaos.
