Well, what a week it has been for Bootleggers! Let me begin by apologising for the late publication (that seems to be becoming a habit, doesn't it?). Technical issues involving a laptop, an iPod Touch and a mother was just too computer illiterate to get the internet on again. Anyway, here's the Buzz. Hope you enjoy it.
This week someone decided that accounts ranked Godfather+ deserved to be shot. Why? Who got shot? What happened? Check out Lachy's article for the info. Furthermore, Event Horizon came into the spotlight this week after they were shot, survived and retaliated. Marlon's got that investigated and written up. Now, the huge development which I'm sure everyone noticed (if not, get out from under your rock) was when both Nyxxie and 5litre stepped down from their Elite Guard positions. Yes, you read that right. Long time Help Desk Operator and then Moderator Nyxxie stepped down and was followed by her real-life parter, Help Desk Operator turned Moderator turned Administrator 5litre within twenty four hours. Noir has composed a colossal article with all the information which may even rival my own 'Clash of the Titans' article back in issue 8.
The columns were mostly based on where the writers think the game is going to go from here, as you can imagine. Aldarion makes his come-back to the Buzz with a cool chart documenting how the players have dropped drastically as this round has continued. Check it out, he makes some good points. Marlon also muses on the promises made to the Bootleggers community by BSF2000 at the beginning of the reset and asks which of those he's actually lived up to.
We have a whole host of weeklies, they just seem to be growing every week! We have A Year Back, looking back at what was going on in Bootleggers this time last year. Two comics by both Noir and Aldarion. Both funny. Behind the Name is here with some re-vamped questions and the Obituaries were also covered by Marlon this week. Oh, and of course, The Buzz Team and The Weekly Flash are there.
We got one freelance article this week, by GuyFawks. I'm sure you have an opinion on the game, now more than ever. Feel free to share it with the whole community by writing one up and sending it in to the Buzz at any time! Also, if you're looking to become a Buzz writer, you will need to go to the bottom of the issue and click 'Application'. Write an article as if you were a Buzz writer and I'll check it out within a week and get back to you.
Other than that, I hope you're having fun, for the right reasons or not. Take care!

Last week, at just after 3PM BL time on November the 3rd, saw a flurry of topics in the Game Forum. Rumours were rife, excitement was high, but the truth was established within minutes; Nyxxie had stepped down from her position as Moderator.

COLUMN: Next Few Weeks Crucial For Bootleggers |

This week was marked by two events that certainly will have impact on the game. First of all we saw Nyxxie leave the Elite Guard, followed by 5litre, just a mere 24 hours later. This leaves us with just four staff members, with BSF2000 as only administrator, and considering the recent drop in players, the question is whether this development will do the game any good.
