Going HDO crazy. xMarlon
New HDOs MindFuck and PuddleWithAPhD were made Yellow this week. We at the Buzz have the interview inside.

This is article is two interviews.
The first being MindFuck.
The second is PuddleWithAPhD.

MindFuck

Yes a new HDO was picked this week. MindFuck is the lucky one who gets to proudly showcase his new yellow coat. We at the Buzz got an interview as soon as we could to talk to the new HDO. We asked him why he thought he got the job. He told us, “actually I am still surprise my self but because of the dazzling good looks and my charms i got it.” So even he does not know why he got it. However he did tell us how he was going to use the position, he told us, “do my job perfectly , professionally and help improve the game .” So even though he has no idea why he got the job, his intentions with the position are good. We then asked if he had plans to take this further. To one day become a Mod maybe? He told us, “who doesnt , but just let me be good HDO first then we will talk about been MOD later.”

When it was revealed he got the job there was a lot of hate thrown MindFucks way as some felt he did not deserve the position. A lot of people said he only got it because he was a friend of a certain moderator. He got a free ride to the top of the players for doing nothing! To all of you he had to say, “HATERS GET OVER IT.” Something that a lot of people should do. From jealousy or whatever it is. It happened get over it.

So over all MindFuck is very happy to be in his new position and we at the Buzz wish him well in his new job as HDO. Hope you do well and serve the community well.

PuddleWithAPhD[/yellow]

The second HDO this week. Not only do we get one new HDO but to get two! Well BSF must have done something (We guess). Nether the less we got an interview with the new HDO PuddleWithAPhD to see how he felt about this new position. He told us, “I'm overjoyed to have been invited. In a community as diverse and changing as Bootleggers there's a lot to be said for being recognised as someone who has a value, who can contribute to it. I'm pleased that I've got an opportunity to help players old and new.” The important question is why does he think he got the new position. He had a good reason to believe he deserved it when he told us, “ In my time on Bootleggers I've tried to help the community. I set up the most pathetic of helpsites while I was just a month in to learning how to do HTML. A few years later someone had an idea of a Buzz alternative and I helped them with the website, which allowed me to develop tools and features I considered helpful to the players. Eventually the paper died, I kept the tools and moved them to my personal site where most exist to this day. When the updated Bootlegging feature was released I created a "Booze Advisor" which calculated your current position among other things to suggest the most profitable booze run, which went down with tremendous success. I've also made suggestions, including a redesign of the Crew page, which was also well received by players. I suspect these reasons and a few more lead to me being chosen.” So a worthy choice? We think so. Puddle went on to tell us what he wanted to do with his position by telling us, “Well my first plan is to invade and conquer the North Pole. There's a lot of oil there and oil's a big part of my plan for global dominance... by which of course I mean helping the community... I hope that being in this fortunate position means I can advise the Elite Guard on issues players actually face, like bugs and update suggestions. Obviously BSF knows what he's doing but impartial advice helps no matter how well you're handling a situation.” A good doer by nature it seems. Hopefully a good sign of things to come.

So Two HDOs in one week. Probably a new record on the recent activity scales of Bootleggers. However we at the Buzz are going to congratulate the new HDOs and wish them all the best in the future.
