This week BSF2000 decided to give us an early Christmas present, Double XP weekend and with the warning of more to come until Christmas is over.
Yes all of us lucky Bootleggers players have been hit by BSF's magic stick (Which isnt his penis for all you people who thought it). It is a magic deal for us that each weekend we will receive a bonus. For instance this weekend we all got double XP. We at the Buzz think this is a very nice idea and believe it is a festive thing for us all. We then decided to open up discussions with the rest of the players to see how they felt about it.
The first thing we encountered was a hostility to BSF. People saying he was only doing it because he was try to make up for all the things he didnt do. However this was laid to rest when Aldarion told us it had happened before. So therefore not a desperate plea to try and apologise for not doing anything in recent times. TiredAndHungry said it well with, Initially, I thought it was an act of desperation, a cheap solution to try and gain some respect again. But with the introduction of the overhauled crime page, I'm hoping this is a turnaround era for Bootleggers. After this people began to talk about the bonus XP and how they like it. A few quotes will be featured from there.
i love it. i had submitted a helpdesk topic to do it on the 2nd, so at least i know they are listening to the people.
It certainly made me crime some more, and i don't feel like it's an act of desperation.
If he was really desperate, he would do something much bigger.
I feel like this is a sign of more good things to come. I am excited for bootleggers again.
I think the double experience and the new crimes are both good things. Could be a turn around point for the game, and for BSF.
A lot of good things there. A lot of bad things about other subjects though. That will not be in here as this is not about the matter at hand.
