A Year Back POI2000


This time last year is a well known article of last reset where we compare the statistics of the game this time, last year. By using the Buzz of the past, we will gather the information of the status of the game and relay the events of that week to you here.

Date: January 3rd, 2010 -- Issue: #9

  • Setting the TARDIS to go back in time to just under a year ago I went back in time to see what was happening in the Buzz... This is how I would write if I had been writing for the Buzz this time last year, they were experimenting with a new RPG style way of writing. In the end it was stopped after just one issue, go back and read issue #9 to see what I mean!

  • Gentlemen Of Fortune were wiped by Darkside this week, showing off an interesting crew slogan- ‘We got Cookies’.

  • We saw Gathering Of Gangsters get wiped by an unknown group in an attack they knew was coming. They said they chose to go underground as they had “made a lot of enemies with our shootings and BF takes.”

  • The Verve sold their crew spot to The Frozen Throne for an undisclosed amount after only a week on the statistics.

  • Due to a bug, an OC led by Cassini was able to steal $240,000,000. He was temporarily banned as he was suspected of exploiting but it was soon found that the problem was with the game and he was unbanned.

  • Money at the time of publishing was $2,144,051,552 (~$221,287 per player).
  • Total bullets were 21,099,871 (~2,010 per player).
