Why did you start playing Bootleggers?
Surfing one day and found a link to the game and thought I would play for five or ten minutes. Boy was I wrong! Spent an average of 5 hours a day logged in.
How did you come up with your current username?
Well when I woke up and saw my Pencil Account was killed, I figured there was a Chalkline outline of my body somewhere. Plus I used the name on a different game and liked it.
How do you feel about the current state of the game?
I think for the most part the game is fine. We do have a group of heavy players that seem to have been given the power try to "manually reset" the game. While I really dont approve of it there is little that can be done. On the other hand I must express some respect to them for planning and executing the plans to kill what 1500+ accounts. I also can't believe the amount of scammers and dupers. I am always amazed that someone would need to cheat at a text based mafia game.
Are there any features or improvements you would like to see?
I know Im going to get some hate mail for this but, I think the crew bosses need a couple of new tools for crew management. First, there needs to be 3 or 4 named council people that can see the bullet counts of the members. They should also be able to send out crew wide messages. This would help allow other online crew members know important information faster than via the crew forum. They should have access to hidden topics in the Crew forum.
What do you think about the call for some players for a reset? Do you think this would be a good idea?
Resets without code updates do nothing for the game, unless all points are wiped out. To have a reset where everyone is deleted and come back with all the points they had will do NOTHING for the game. I have NEVER seen a player create a topic in the games forum with a logical argument on how a reset will fix a game that is not broken. Dupers will dupe and cheaters will cheat. If you dont like what a small group of players have done i.e. TF/TT or whomever, then strap on a set of balls and do something about it yourself. Don't make the Admins fix an issue that the players can fix themselves.
Do you like the new crimes? Anything you would like to see changed or added to them?
I really like the new crimes process. I had issues with the old system and when I questioned the helpdesk about it, I was given answers like: Try harder...keep going you'll get more crimes. They gave me bullshit answers to close the ticket. The new system gives everyone a lot of choices in where we want to be most productive.
Do you like the Buzz? Any ideas for it or constructive criticisms?
I look forward to reading the Buzz each week. I read and hear a lot of people complain, but they don't offer to help. Kudos to the entire Buzz Staff.

All I want is to play the game, rank and bank. I haven't and have no intention of killing anyone (except those within the mission) and I would very much hope that shooters would leave me out of there gun sights.

More features to stop bots etc to make the games fair for everyone

It would be if there where more features to stop bots. The problem is points however, players can retrieve them and become powerful giving way to a repeat of this round

How do you feel about the current state of the game?
I stopped being so involved in the game now because its changed so much, I don't get the same enjoyment I use too, so I only log in for friends and to browse forums.
Are there any features or improvements you would like to see?
One very simple thing I'd like to see added is keeping your friends list after you die and make a new account.

I don't think a reset would make a big difference, you still have to put some effort in to make it anywhere.

I retired as a player before the crimes were added so personally I haven't used them a lot but from what I have seen there a welcome update.

I think as with any 'news' outlet you will get good and bad articles in every issue depending on your interests.
