Much Ado About Nothing Relevant Rolled
Note the word relevant. Look clearly at all the things that have taken place that I am not going to repeat here are of great importance to many people. If you are not aware of the history then perhaps 1) you have been to Mars, and 2) maybe you should, if you have a spare hour or two, read past buzz issues and troll the forums. Sadly they are of very little relevance to the majority of players, yes players not staff, not people with an agenda, simple players which the majority of people are.

So in 5 years Bootleggers has had some drama, perhaps BSF hasn't always run the game in the way others would like, with hindsight I am sure there are some things he has done that if he could repeat, he would repeat differently. However we are still here, we have a game that works well, we have new features (mostly bug free) and we have a lot of new players too. So some things must be right.

I dont know if the introduction of the Nation and State Dons got as much attention as the bun fight that is taking place now, yet that was a transformation of a foundation of the game, a shift of the power away from Crews and a dispersal to possibly individual players. So how does this catch as much air time.

Some of you may remember Mikey1408, a good friend of mine, started an offline "independent" Buzz. It was fun while it lasted, so what I would like to suggest is that if people want something totally independent that is the way to go. Perhaps create a blog.

That way we keep the game for the gamers or players, and still allow the politicians space elsewhere to make their noise and have their arguments.

Staff, you are here to help the players not the other way round, you do not have the right to boss us around hence the move towards less intervention in the game. Players you should recognise the staff are trying to help and support them where possible.

BSF, you are here to enjoy running the game and if in fact it has grown so much that you make enough money to pay a lot of attention to it and employ someone to make it better for us, then please do. Oh and if you fall out with your staff members please ensure you have an agreement with them to keep it out of the game please, regardless of who is right or wrong.
