WELCOME to issue number 70 of the Bootleggers Buzz!
An exciting week it has been this week and we all hope you enjoy an issue chock-full of information for you to read. This week, we witnessed accounts being revived after an exploiter used points for his shooting brigade as well as an attempted takeover of some crews.
Also, Sabin has returned a very popular feature of pictures in the forums. However, let this be known that abuse of the new feature may result in it taken away again! Sabin also added another new feature that allows a Bootmail to be sent to your mailbox letting you know of your federal bank income via interest. So put those calculators away, a convenient little script does that all for you!
We hope you enjoyed the Buzz Easter competition and congratulations to all our winners! Due to the competition, all of our weekly articles were put on hold-- but no longer! Welcome back "The Undercover Crew Review," "The Buzz Sound Off, "Behind the Name" and "A Year Back." All interesting reads on crews, player opinions, player backgrounds and what the current status of the game was exactly oen year ago.
Put all that together, amongst other articles and here we have issue number 70. As always, we are looking for writers for the Buzz. Even more now that most of mine are being kidnapped by their teachers with excessive homework (ew!) and tests (ew!). So if you have what it takes to become a writer, feel free to read the article below titled "Your Ticket to the Buzz Forum." Please send a sample article of a recent Bootleggers event to our email address at Buzz.Application@gmail.com and I will personally look into it within two weeks. Remember to mind your grammar, punctuation and spelling. Make sure to include your current Bootleggers' name. If you are dead by the time we contact you, we will do it via the e-mail you used to contact us, so keep checking on that as well!
Next week, we have a VERY special event coming up that myself and Sabin have put together. It will be one of our biggest yet, but this event doesn't involve any prize. Stumped you? Good, I hope you look forward to next week when we put the future of Bootleggers in YOUR hands!
